K2 - 'ROARING MEG'
Kawarau River • 1/2 Day, CLASS III+
6km of some of NZ's best high volume white water and definitely our
most popular trip. The Roaring Meg has something for everybody with
big fast flowing rapids, standing waves, boils, whirlpools and finishes
with a peaceful flat section to get your breath back and take in the
fantastic scenery of the historic Kawarau River.
Haven't had enough?
We head back to the top and have another run for a total of 10km
leaving you a fully qualified Frog with a big grin. "Like
a giant hydro slide through the mountains"
